The thicker fabric in darker shades may still lose a little color at first but are fixed easily.<br \/>\nDilute 2 cups of vinegar and two handfuls of salt in warm or cool water. Immerse the garment, soak for 1-2 hrs. and rinse in cold water, dry naturally. After one or two regular washes, the dye will be completely fixed and won\u2019t wash out or fade. Eventually dark indigo garments become very supple and soft and the color may slowly lighten with wear.
